'Deadly Serious' was definitely a dark black comedy thriller. The storyline was well written and it pulled me in from the beginning. The way this book played out was full of dark humor, deceit, complicated relationships, thrills and suspense. The characters were a vast array of personalities. Jon seemed to go full circle as his story unfolded. There were so many emotions and scenarios that would have made most people curl up and start rocking back and forth. Jon was a confused soul for a long time, yet he finally understood what he wanted and needed. Lauren was a little iffy to me. She was so one sided, that more times than not, I despised her. Once everything came out in the open it made sense. Definitely a great add to your tbr list.Product details
